· Now 27 years old, Robbie started his martial arts training in February of 1990 at just 8 years of age
· Received his Black Belt in Kenpo Karate (February,1994) at the age of 11 from Newfoundland Kenpo founder Sensei Dave Jackman
· Established himself locally as one of the best in the sport taking home numerous 1st place finishes in both the Kata and Sparring divisions at local tournaments he competed in.
· Was a consistent winner outside of Newfoundland at various Canadian National Kenpo Championships that he attended.
· Turned his attention to the sport of competitive kickboxing in 2003 and in May 2004, as a member of Canadian National Team, he represented Canada at the World Kickboxing Championships In Greece. In this, his first international competition, he came away with a second place finish
· Received a personal invitation from 23 time World Kickboxing Champion Jean Yves (The Iceman) Theriault to become part of a team he was taking to Europe. This invitation allowed Robbie to become 1 of 5 Canadians chosen to compete from May 5th - 13th, 2008 - in Charleville-Meziere, France ("Team Canada Vs. Team Europe"). Once again, he came away victorious from this world class competition.
· Currently undefeated in Canadian kickboxing competitions and is the reigning Canadian champion in CASK's heavyweight division
· 2009 Member of Canadian National Kickboxing Team - attending the World Championships in November in Nante, France.
· Certified First Aid
· Certified Level 1 Coach with CASK
· Certified Level 2 Official with CASK
